i have installed pywin32 different version of python before.
so can solve issue? how can install pywin32?
edit
thank informative answer... not wanted helps.
also checked computer's threat history today... says pywin32 installer's activities had installed file in appdata folder... therefore it's 3rd party, unwanted software. don't know why python plugin needs install in appdata folder.
also considering 220 released 10 days ago ( upon writing ) has on 8,000 downloads... no more 1,000 (indvidualy) every single other one, , 220 installer in question...
how can install pywin32?
if trust suppliers of pywin32 more trust suppliers of norton, disable or uninstall anti-virus , go ahead installing pywin32.
i can't make decision 1 trust more, in opinion:
in general anti-virus today doesn't work. (it has been arguably been causing more problems solved many years now, these days proving nugatory protection faff.) signature-based scanning dead in face of dynamically-generated files automated kits; heuristic-based scanning (which has flagged here) rife false positives pretty executable.
pywin32 hosted on sourceforge, site has gained notoriety packaging installers unwanted third-party software. have not seen evidence has happened pywin32 @ point, knows.
it unfortunate put in position of choosing trust 1 or party when have both proven distinctly untrustworthy in past. that's filthy, stinking state of windows software marketplace today.
