jquery - Parallax effect with vertical scroll inside a div -

hi , reading. working on website , trying effect in place i'm struggling doing so. trying create similar effect found on https://nest.com/thermostat/meet-nest-thermostat/. when scroll down mid way, there parallax effect keeps left object in place, scrolls text on right , once have scrolled through all, continue scrolling page.

any suggestions or thoughts on tutorials similar item may have come across or fiddle can reference? thanks!
