svn - TortoiseSVN login fails - malformed XML: no element found -


i support developers , having tortoisesvn issues. when browse repo https://svn.domain.com/admin admin being repository name takes long time presents login page, login , fails 'the xml response contains invalid xml, malformed xml: no element found'. in visualsvn server (v3.4.2) event log 'file not exist: c:/program files/visualsvnserver/htdocs/admin' . tried trailing slash, not putting repository @ end, no go.

we have certificate in place , wrestled while got group policy deploy certs , config each machine.

done 3 hours of searching (google) , not luck. thanks.

the url https://svn.domain.com/admin not lead repository. should copy correct url either visualsvn server manager mmc console or via web interface.
