android studio says my android table is at sdk api 1 -


android studio says android tablet, want debug, @ sdk api 1 (devicesdk(api 1), minsdkversion= '14' in project manifest, tablet device says @ android 4.4.2, studio says device incompatible. missing?

i turned off "usb debugging" on tablet, , on. got message device , sharing kind of security key. said ok, device enabled , should be.
