i building application use company has number of features. 1 thing interested in adding if @ possible linking specific format of internal id application if exists in email, same way ups/usps/fedex tracking numbers converted links in email app.

is possible build app extension create link id in email, , launch application when clicked?

for example, if following id (1453833784.127410) in body or subject of email message, end user click , have launch app.

my experience in app extensions limited assistance appreciated.

no, not possible. there no api can hook mail app (or other app) such text in format gets translated url 3rd party app.

if have control of email generation, creation of original email should updated include link.
