docusignapi - Docusign: Removing Signer completes envelope -


we have docusign document sent customer. customer couldn't access it, our customer service sent document via docusign him again. have 2 docusign documents customer. wanted cancel 1 of them, didn't want customer notified because see document being voided , confused. removed customer envelope through rest api , going void envelope after removed customer document, docusign changed envelope's status complete. had carbon copy recipients in envelope.

any idea how work around this? voiding envelope without sending notification customer? , why docusign changing envelope's status complete?

  • this sounds remote signing, , therefore docusign sending out various emails recipients depending on action. if customer has docusign account there options user can set on email notifications receive, part can assume not. if void envelope, receive notification.
  • when removed recipient envelope workflow continued forward (to cc recipient). explicit , required actions roles in transaction completed, envelope transition completed state.
