sugarcrm - Could not Create Gmail Mailbox In Vtiger -


i could't create mailbox gmail in vtiger crm version 6.3.0. alerted 'no route host'.

this still facing issue.

now days google has updated security , not allow login normal password imap or pop. either have disable security account or create application password have use in 3rd party app login.

how generate app password

  1. visit app passwords page. may asked sign in google account.

  2. at bottom, click select app , choose app you’re using.

  3. click select device , choose device you’re using.

  4. select generate.

  5. follow instructions enter app password (the 16 character code in yellow bar) on device.

  6. select done.

once finished, won’t see app password code again. however, see list of apps , devices you’ve created app passwords for.

note: may not able create app password less secure apps. learn more allowing less secure apps.

how allow less secure app login

change settings allow less secure apps access account. don't recommend option because might make easier break account. if want allow access anyway, follow these steps:

  1. go "less secure apps" section in account.
  2. next "access less secure apps," select turn on. (note google apps users: setting hidden if administrator has locked less secure app account access.)
