c# - Silverlight Application stopped working for no known reason (no server or code changes made) -


i apologize in advance if question has been answered. i've been searching , didn't see similar problem.

i build silverlight app wcf service db. application deployed 3 months ago. @ time, had users try out, make sure security , functionality worked, more or less desired.

it has gone uat (about 2 weeks ago). haven't touched server settings, iis settings, nor code since got "ok" initial testers few months ago. haven't been site, there no work required nor issues presented.

on jan 18, user called desk assistance in logging site. assume issue resolved, last time able site.

now no 1 can application. again, have changed nothing. i've spoken helpdesk has told me repeatedly no changes made fix user issue should have affected application (in case vpn issue).

i "this page cannot displayed" issue, in ie 10 , ie 11. thing has changed on server in time windows server updates have been added. of company uses windows 7 client os, 1 user has windows 10. has absolutely no problems getting site. other way navigate page/site inside (logged into) server.

i have checked security settings; i've tried different builds of ie (in case it's client issue); i've checked iis settings; set should be. can navigate wcf service without issue, not application. (ex: http://myapp.mydomain.local/myservice.svc -> works fine; http://myapp.mydomain.local -> not work)

sorry ramble. wanted provide info possible. please me figure out i'm doing wrong. thanks!

so...i found out issue was. updates installed @ our data center, , 1 of updates thought silverlight threat. blocked everything.

this issue of developer (me) telling network guy wrong, while insisted on end of things. when realized access application when didn't go through firewall, realized issue (he had sort of direct tunnel our data center).

ios - Realm over CoreData should I use NSFetchedResultController or a Dictionary? -

i'm working on app using core data , nsfetchedresultcontroller many reasons switch use realm. saw there "realm version" of nsfetchedresultcontroller on github wouldn't compatible current code using core data. the view controller displaying list of people same school, address book. list sublist of people studied in same city. so thinking make 1 unique request database retrieve list of people , filter locally list within 1 dictionary per school [string: anyobject] string section name within tableview , anyobject array of people. first solution, make nsfetchedresultcontroller each school predicate filtering location. delete actions etc.. handled delegates -> not compatible realm create dictionaries , update them each actions... -> works realm it's annoying code. any better solution? edit: i need clarify request: i'd write class inherit uitableviewcontroller. this class has list of people sorted in alphabetical order the tableview has ...
