Disable Unicode (force ASCII) in Outlook 2013 -
is there way, via settings or custom script, force use of ascii-only encoding in outlook 2013?
i pass one-liners , code snippets between myself , other developers, , copy-paste them command-line prompt testing various tools. common issue editor replace hyphens -
wider "full width hyphen" or "dash" character, gets converted accented ascii character when paste prompts.
right now, resolve pasting gvim on windows , running vim script handle conversion, it's pain , can unreliable, other developers hate using vim. since correspondence handled in english, french, or italian anyways (we don't picky accents), there's no need unicode support. can turn off?
thanks.
no, , has nothing unicode support in outlook. how outlook editor (word) works.
edit: can turn smart quotes off in outlook: http://www.extendoffice.com/documents/outlook/2084-outlook-disable-turn-off-smart-quotes.html
